The concrete container coasters, crafted by woodworker and artist Roberts Neilands from pressed cardboard with an oak veneer, serve as an excellent accessory in nearly any interior. The candle coasters are treated with tung oil to make them as resistant to moisture as possible. The coaster will not only be a decorative item but also an indispensable protector in cases where the surface on which you wish to place the concrete container is highly sensitive to contact with hard materials (for example, glass).
My collaboration with Roberts Neilands is self-evident for several reasons. First, we are related, as Roberts is my cousin's partner. Second, our creative thought processes are remarkably similar, enabling us to jointly create harmonious design product lines.
