From time to time, during the restoration or reconstruction of old buildings, time capsules are unearthed, bearing messages from the past for future generations. I’ve always found that in these moments, the present and the past briefly converge—a truly magical experience. In the "Time Capsule" candle collection, crafted alongside candle artisan Elīna Muceniece, we’ve aimed to capture the essence of opening a time capsule. The candles in this collection blend concrete with stones and wood fragments sourced from my fields.

The cylinder, with its sturdy form and refined simplicity, lends a sense of strength and solidity to any space, infused with an aura of ancient allure and the mystery of a bygone world. It serves as a captivating and self-sufficient decor piece, perfect for any interior. The natural soy wax candle, scented with amber, fills the room with a sophisticated hint of pine resin.

As the candle burns, the concrete cylinder warms, ensuring the soy wax burns completely without leaving residue on the walls. Once the candle is fully consumed, the cylinder can safely hold another candle or, after cleaning, be repurposed as a versatile interior object for your own creative uses.
