From time to time, during the restoration or renovation of old buildings, time capsules are discovered, holding messages from the past for future generations. I’ve always believed that in these moments, the present and past briefly connect—a magical instance. In the "Time Capsule" candle collection, crafted with candle artisan Elīna Muceniece, we’ve aimed to capture the moment of opening a time capsule. The candles in this collection blend concrete with stones and wood fragments found in my fields.

The cylinder, with its sturdy form and refined simplicity, adds a sense of strength and solidity to any space, wrapped in an aura of ancient charm and the mystery of a forgotten world. It serves as a captivating, self-sufficient decor piece, perfect for any interior. The natural soy wax candle, scented with amber, fills the room with a sophisticated note of pine resin.

As the candle burns, the concrete cylinder warms, ensuring the soy wax burns completely without leaving residue on the walls. Once the candle is fully consumed, the cylinder can safely hold another candle or, after cleaning, be repurposed as a versatile interior object for your own creative uses.
