Collection "Rust and Patina"

In my free time, I often embark on hikes to remote places where no human foot has tread in ages. I enjoy visiting abandoned sites because they allow one to encounter time itself. Various objects and items, under the influence of time's decay—moss-covered and rusted—acquire entirely new forms, color palettes, and atmospheres. Observations of such things have enabled me to create the concrete container collection "Rust and Patina." Using special interior finishing materials, the concrete "begins" to rust, forming a patina layer upon it. Afterward, once the container has acquired an aura of antiquity, the process is halted with a specialized lacquer.
