It is often said that the greatest artist in the world is nature. During Easter, when coloring eggs, anyone can verify this. Eggshells and concrete share a common trait—both contain lime, making it quite easy for nature to leave its color imprints. Dyeing concrete containers with plants at the height of summer, boiling them in a massive cauldron over a bonfire, is my favorite relaxing activity for summer evenings, as each time I am newly surprised by the results. For instance, how could one anticipate in advance that peppermint would dye concrete red...

Candles in concrete containers possess an exceptional quality: as the candle burns, the container's walls heat up and assist the flame in melting the wax, ensuring the candle always burns completely without leaving a layer of unburned wax on the container's walls. The base of the candle container is designed with sufficient thickness to prevent it from overheating and damaging the surface on which the candle is placed. If you remain concerned that the container might harm the surface, you can purchase candle coasters with a heat-resistant oak veneer coating from the "Candle Coasters" section. Once the candle has fully burned out, you can easily and simply refill the container with a new candle by acquiring palm wax granules in a 200-gram (approximately 0.44-pound) package from the "Bulk Candles" section. This package allows you to refill the candle twice. It includes two types of wicks and instructions for candle creation. Of course, after the candle has burned out, you may also insert any pre-made candle that fits inside the container or repurpose it for other household uses, such as a vase. The concrete container is not suitable for storing open food items.

Product Technical Information. For the initial burn, allow the candle to continue until the top layer of wax becomes fully liquid (1-4 hours, depending on the container's diameter and the number of wicks). Before relighting, trim the wicks to a height of 1 cm (approximately 0.4 inches) above the wax surface.

General Hazards
Never leave a burning candle unattended! Burn candles in locations inaccessible to children and pets! Always maintain at least 10 cm (approximately 4 inches) between burning candles! Do not burn candles on or near anything that can catch fire! Do not place candles in drafts! Do not place candles near heat sources! Do not place candles on their sides! Always use a specialized candle snuffer to extinguish the flame—do not blow it out! Prevent matches or other foreign objects from entering the melted wax to avoid flare-ups! Do not move a burning candle! Do not use liquids to extinguish it! During burning, the container walls become hot! Do not use the container for food storage.
