SIA "Kārlis Anitens", reg. no. 40103671539, Dignājas iela 3-6A, Riga, LV-1004, hereinafter referred to as the online store, provides the content available on the website karlisanitens.lv and provides goods/services in accordance with the Terms of Use set out below. The online store karlisanitens.lv is a structural unit of SIA "Kārlis Anitens", which is registered with the State Revenue Service of the Republic of Latvia. Reg. no.: 91439243047
1. General provisions
If a consumer purchases goods/services through the website, then such a mutual agreement is considered a Distance Contract and is subject to the legal provisions of the Republic of Latvia that regulate distance contracts, including, but not limited to, the "Consumer Rights Protection Law" of the Republic of Latvia, the regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Latvia "Regulations on Distance Contracts", etc. The online store has the right to unilaterally change the content and terms of use of the website www.karlisanitens.lv at any time. Such changes come into force after their publication on the website www.karlisanitens.lv. From the moment you start using the website www.karlisanitens.lv or perform any activities on the said website, it will be considered that you have become familiar with the terms in force at the time of use and will comply with them. Each user of the website is obliged to regularly read the terms in order to be informed of the changes made to them in a timely manner. If you do not agree with the terms, then it is prohibited to use the website. Users of the website www.karlisanitens.lv have the right to use the options and services offered there at the price that is valid at the time of offering the relevant service. SIA “Kārlis Anitens” has the right at any time, at its discretion, to change the prices indicated on the website www.karlisanitens.lv and/or create new paid services. In order to become a registered user of the online store, you must follow the registration procedure specified on the website www.karlisanitens.lv. Each user registered in the online store is obliged not to disclose their access data to other persons. If actions are performed on the website www.karlisanitens.lv with a registered user profile (including purchasing goods and/or services) using the correct username and password, then it is considered that the actions in the relevant profile have been performed by the registered user himself. When requesting SIA “Kārlis Anitens” or a person represented on its behalf to make changes to a registered order that is incomplete, please note that changes can only be applied for by writing an e-mail to [email protected] from the e-mail address specified in the order or by contacting SIA “Kārlis Anitens” by calling the phone number specified in the order at 29462612. The use of the website www.karlisanitens.lv does not grant any ownership rights to the content of the content to those who have the right to access it. It is prohibited to use the content of the information posted on the website www.karlisanitens.lv, unless there is permission from the owner of this content or other permission in accordance with the applicable legislative acts of the Republic of Latvia. These regulations do not grant the right to use any text, brand, logo or photograph included on the website www.karlisanitens.lv. It is also prohibited to remove, make incomprehensible or change the notices displayed on the website. The website www.karlisanitens.lv displays the content and description of goods and other information that is the property of SIA “Kārlis Anitens”. In connection with the services used, SIA “Kārlis Anitens” has the right to send notifications, reminders about started but unfinished services and other information to the entered electronic e-mail address with the aim of improving the quality of service provision. SIA “Kārlis Anitens” also has the right to send information about news, promotions and discounts of cooperation partners of www.karlisanitens.lv and SIA “Kārlis Anitens”.
2. Making purchases
Prices and specifications of products sold in the online store are indicated next to the products and in some cases additional information is available in the product photo gallery. Although the photos of the products listed in the online store are taken by photographing the relevant products, individual products may differ slightly from those shown in the photo, because each product sold in the online store is a unique handmade product, therefore, in the legal sense, the photos have an illustrative meaning. To place an order, add the desired products to the shopping cart. Fill in all the required fields and select the most suitable delivery method. The total cost of the order with delivery is then displayed on the screen. Make payment for the purchase to complete the order.
3. Payment terms
The settlement currency on the website is euro. You can pay for your purchase by choosing the following payment methods provided by the payment platform makecommerce.lv, Maksekeskus AS:
- Latvian internet banking payments: Swedbank, SEB, Citadele and Luminor
- Estonian internet banking payments: Swedbank, SEB, Luminor
- Lithuanian internet banking payments: Swedbank, SEB and Luminor
- Finnish internet banking payments: Aktia, Ålandsbanken, Danske, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästopankki, Pohjola, POP Pankki, S-Pankki, Säästopankki
- Visa/Mastercard card payments
- Transfer to SIA "Kārlis Anitens" account from any other bank account on the basis of an order-invoice issued by the online store karlisanitens.lv, indicating the order number in the payment order. After paying for the order-invoice, you can receive an electronic final invoice.
Using the internet banking payment method, confirm the order and click on the "Return to merchant" button.
Personal data required for payment processing is transferred to a licensed payment institution Maksekeskus AS.
The contract comes into force upon successful payment to the online store's bank account. If for any reason the order cannot be fulfilled, the Buyer will be informed and the amount paid will be refunded as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after receipt of the notification.
4. Delivery Terms
The goods are delivered to any country in the world, except Russia and Belarus. The table below summarizes the delivery options and costs to the most popular destinations. The total weight of the goods is calculated automatically, and when placing an order, the Buyer is offered the delivery form and costs available for the relevant weight category. The shipping costs include delivery and safety shipping packaging. The costs include all taxes and fees. If the purchase must be delivered to a country not mentioned in this list and the selection of the relevant country is not offered when placing an order, please fill out the contact form in the "Contacts" section, and we will inform you about the delivery costs to the country of your interest.

Purchased goods are delivered using: SIA "Omniva" parcel machines (in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia) or other licensed courier services (for shipments outside Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia). All fees and taxes that must be paid to receive the shipment at the delivery destination must be covered by the Buyer. Delivery costs are displayed before confirming the order. Purchased goods are prepared for shipment and shipped within three business days after full payment of the order. If the order is not paid within 5 business days, it is canceled. Purchased goods are delivered to the address specified by the Buyer within 1 to 30 business days, depending on the workload of the delivery service provider. In exceptional cases, we have the right to ship the goods up to 45 calendar days, informing the customer about it.
5. Right of Withdrawal
The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase of unused goods within 14 calendar days. When returning the purchased item, the Buyer must present a document confirming the purchase. The online store undertakes to refund the money within 10 business days. If the products are used inappropriately or damaged, handled carelessly during use, or the instructions for use are not followed, or if the original packaging of the product is lost or significantly damaged, the online store has the right to reduce the refund amount according to the decrease in the product's value. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must submit a withdrawal form, which can be found here: [Withdrawal Form]. The withdrawal form must be sent to the email address: [email protected]. The right of withdrawal does not apply if the Buyer is a legal entity. The Buyer bears the cost of returning the product, except when the reason for the return is that the product does not match the order (e.g., incorrect or damaged product).
The Buyer's obligation is to return the goods to the Seller without delay, but no later than 14 days after sending the withdrawal form to the online store. Upon receiving the returned goods, the online store will refund all payments received from the Buyer based on the Distance Contract, without delay, but no later than 14 days.
The Seller has the right to withhold the payment until the goods are received from the Buyer or until the Buyer provides proof of the return of the goods. If the Buyer has chosen a shipping method other than the cheapest shipping option offered by the online store, the online store is not obligated to reimburse the excess shipping costs.
The online store is not responsible for delays in performance or non-performance, or any other form of non-performance, resulting from circumstances and obstacles beyond the reasonable control of the online store.
The online store reserves the right to refuse to sell products and request the return of goods from the Buyer if the price indicated in the online store is significantly lower than the market price due to an error.
6. Consumer Rights for Non-Conforming Goods
The online store is responsible for any non-conformity of goods sold to the Buyer or for any defects that arise within 6 months from the date of delivery to the customer or that existed at the time of delivery, provided that this assumption is not in contradiction with the nature or defects of the item. The Buyer must inform the Seller about the non-conformity of the goods immediately, within 2 months after discovering it, i.e., by submitting a complaint. The Buyer can submit a complaint by contacting the online store via email at [email protected].
The online store is not responsible for defects that occur after the goods have been delivered to the Buyer. If the purchased goods have defects for which the Seller is responsible, the Buyer has the right to request the repair of the defects or exchange the goods for new ones free of charge.
If the goods cannot be repaired or replaced, the Seller will refund the Buyer all payments made under the Distance Contract. The Seller will respond in writing to the consumer’s complaint within 15 days.
7. Processing of the Buyer's Personal Data
The online store processes only the personal data that the Buyer has entered when placing an order, such as name, surname, email address, etc.
The online store may share personal data with transportation service providers to ensure the delivery of goods.
If you have explicitly agreed to receive our marketing communications, including news and updates, we may occasionally contact you by sending information about our services and latest offers. For this purpose, we may process the email address you provided when signing up for marketing communications. The Buyer has the option to opt-out of marketing communications by notifying us via email at [email protected].
8. Dispute Resolution
In matters not covered by these terms and conditions, the Buyer and the Seller agree to comply with the applicable regulations of the Republic of Latvia.
Both parties will attempt to resolve any disputes between the Seller and the Buyer through mutual discussions or correspondence. If the dispute cannot be resolved through discussions or correspondence, the parties will resolve the dispute in the courts of the Republic of Latvia, in accordance with the laws of Latvia. Disputes between the Buyer (consumer) and the Seller can be referred to the Consumer Rights Protection Centre or the courts of the Republic of Latvia.
The Buyer also has the right to address disputes to the European Union dispute resolution bodies.
